How do I call overseas with PhoenixCard?
  Just follow the simple steps at the back of the card:
1. Dial 1800 347 4488 or 6347 4488
2. At the voice prompt, select language by entering 1 for English, 2 for Chinese, 3 for Malay, 4 for Tamil or 5 for Japanese
3. At the next voice prompt, enter your 10-digit or 12-digit PIN + #
4. At the next voice prompt, enter the COUNTRY CODE + AREA CODE + TELEPHONE NUMBER + #
5. Wait for the call to be connected
6. Replace handset to end the call
Notes:
  Calls can be made from any phone. (Including mobile and public phones.)
  Surcharge is applicable only when dialling 1800 347 4488 from a payphone.
  PLEASE DO NOT INSERT THE CARD INTO A PUBLIC PHONE.
  Mobile airtime charge is still applicable (levied by mobile operators) when calling overseas using PhoenixCard
  To make calls from a hotel, dial 6347 4488 as hotel may charge usage of '1800' numbers.
What are the denominations available?
 

PhoenixCards are available in stored value of $10, $20 and $50.

Where can I purchase PhoenixCards?
  PhoenixCards are available at all Singapore Post Offices, provision shops, 7-Eleven, Photo Finish, newsagents, money changers/remittance counters at major shopping centres, selected NTUC Fair Price/Cheers outlets and most convenience stores located at MRT stations.

You can also purchase the cards online.
Do I get charged for busy, unanswered calls?
  Unanswered calls are not charged. However, if the call is answered by a voice mail, fax machine, computer or answering machine, it is considered a connected call and charges apply.
How long can I talk?
 

Your talk time depends on the value/balance left in your card and the destination you are calling.
Note: Rates to overseas fixed line and mobile are different for some destinations. Please refer to our online rates table for more information.

What are the languages available?
 

The pre-recorded languages to guide you along when you use the PhoenixCard are available in English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil and Japanese.

Can calls be made from a mobile phone?
  Yes, calls can be made from a mobile phone; however, normal mobile service "air-time" is still chargeable by your mobile service provider.
What if I have problems using the card?
 

Simply call our customer service at 6838 1516 (24 hours) when you encounter any problems with your PhoenixCard.

Do the rates apply throughout the day?
 

Yes. Our rates apply 24 hours a day.

Where can I check the calling rates to different countries?
  You can call our customer service at 6838 1516 (24 hours) or visit our online rates table for our latest calling rates.
Can the card be used for local calls?
 

Yes, PhoenixCard can be used to make local calls. Just remember to add country code '65'.

Is there an expiry date?
  Yes, the expiry date is indicated on the back of the card.
Can I use this card when I am overseas?
 

No, PhoenixCard is for use in Singapore only.

How am I charged for my usage?
 

With effect from 1st June 2005, the charging block will be as follows:

  • For destinations with calling rates at 10 cents or below, minimum charge per call is 60 seconds and subsequent block charge is 120 seconds.
  • For destinations with calling rates above 10 cents, it’ll be on 60 seconds block charge.
  • For India, minimum charge per call is 60 seconds and subsequent block charge is 120 seconds.
  • There will be a surcharge only when dialling 1800 from payphone.

Can I get a replacement for lost / expired card?
 

It is not possible to replace lost PhoenixCard as we are unable to establish the ownership of the cards after they are sold from the retail outlets.

Most service providers of prepaid card service would try their best to keep their cost of operating the service (e.g. no replacement of card, expiry date) as low as possible. The savings are normally passed back to the user of the prepaid card in terms of low IDD rates.

How do I know the remaining value of my card?
 

Simply dial 1800 347 4488 or 6347 4488 followed by your PIN. The system will announce the remaining value. If you do not wish to make any call, just hang up at this point.

What is surcharge?
 

Surcharge is normally levied for making 1800-number calls from public phones. (For example: By dialling 1800 347 4488 from public phone.)

No surcharge if dialling 6347 4488 from public phone.

Surcharge rate varies according to destinations.

No surcharge for calls from any local fixed line or mobile phone.

Phoenix CallBack Card
What are the benefits of using the CallBack Card?
  If you have subscribed to a mobile phone plan with free unlimited incoming calls, you will make substantial savings on outgoing calls on your mobile when you use our CallBack Card.
How do I make call with CallBack Card?
 

You need to register your mobile number by following the instructions on the card before you can use the service.

To make a call with your registered number, dial 63479977. Your line will be disconnected. Hang up the phone and wait for our system to call you back. Answer the incoming call and dial your destination number as follows: country code + area code + telephone number + #

Your call will be connected within seconds.

Where can I purchase the CallBack Card?
  CallBack Cards are available at most convenience stores.

You can also purchase the cards online.

No, you can only use the Callback Card from your mobile.

Yes, the expiry date is 6 months from registration/top-up. All registration/top-up must be done on/before the expiry date printed at the back of the card.
